SO LETS TALK BRONZE
⭐️it will tarnish but the beautiful golden colour will never be lost, I coat my pieces to prolong tarnishing. Bronze can be easily shined back to good as new with a polishing cloth, which I provide on purchase.
⭐️ gold plated jewellery fades to a silver colour after time when the gold plating wear off, bronze will always be this golden colour!
⭐️all my pieces will be coated with a varnish that protects the bronze from tarnishing. as bronze can be known for leaving green marks on skin it also protects from this. But my pieces have very little skin contact so I am yet to experience any green colour after wearing.
⭐️all my earrings are sterling silver earring posts and solder!
⭐️bronze is a much cheaper metal than gold but has a similar look!

925 Sterling Silver vs. Silver Plated:
Composition: 925 Sterling Silver is made up of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. In contrast, silver-plated items feature a thin layer of silver adhered to a base metal.
Silver plating involves depositing a thin layer of silver onto the surface of a base metal, such as copper, brass, or nickel. The thickness of this silver layer can vary depending on the specific item and the plating process used. However, in general, the silver layer in silver-plated items is typically quite thin, often measuring only a few microns in thickness. To put this into perspective, a micron (also called a micrometer) is one millionth of a meter, or about 0.00004 inches. So, when we say the silver layer in silver-plated items is thin, we mean that it's on the order of a few microns or less.
Durability: Sterling Silver is renowned for its robustness and resistance to wear and tear, making it a fantastic choice for heirloom-quality jewelry. Silver-plated items, on the other hand, can quickly wear down, exposing the base metal beneath.
Tarnish Resistance: 925 Sterling Silver is less prone to tarnishing compared to silver-plated pieces. Its unique alloy composition ensures long-lasting shine with minimal maintenance.
