Lasting impressions RINGS SILVER and 18k GOLD VERMEIL

Capture a moment forever with a custom-made ring, handcrafted using the ancient technique of lost-wax casting. Each ring is created from your unique imprint and made to order in your choice of 925 sterling silver or gold-plated 925 sterling silver.

This process is similar to my Lasting Imprints jewellery, but specially adapted for rings.

How It Works
1. Place Your Order

Choose your preferred finish:
• 925 Sterling Silver
• Gold-Plated 18k gold vermeil ontop of 925 Sterling Silver

2. Receive Your Imprint & Ring Sizing Kit
You'll receive a kit containing:
• Soft putty and clay for taking your imprint
• Full instructions
• A set of sample rings to help you find your perfect size

3. Take Your Imprint & Choose Your Ring Size
Follow the instructions to take your imprint.
Your imprint will then be carefully sculpted into a wax ring in your chosen size before being cast into metal.
Please note: The wax sample ring should feel just slightly loose. Wax shrinks by approximately 3% during casting, so the size you choose using the sample rings is the size your finished ring will be cast in.

4. Return Your Kit
Sweden: A prepaid return label is included.
International customers: Return postage to Sweden is the buyer's responsibility (see example postage costs below).

5. We Create Your Ring
Once I receive your completed imprint kit, your ring enters production.
Each ring is individually handcrafted using the traditional lost-wax casting process. Your imprint is carefully transferred to a wax model before being cast in your chosen metal.

Every ring is then hand-finished and polished.
Production typically takes 6–10 weeks from the date I receive your completed imprint kit.

Please note that gold-plated rings may take a little longer, as gold plating is an additional finishing process. Production times may also be extended during busy periods such as Christmas, Swedish summer holidays, and public holidays.

6. Receive Your Finished Ring
Your one-of-a-kind ring is carefully packaged and shipped, ready to wear and treasure.

No Imprint? No Problem.
Don't have an imprint? I can also create a custom ring from a photograph using the same lost-wax casting technique.
Whether it's a fingerprint, paw print, or nose print, I'll work with you to create a beautifully detailed ring that captures your memory.

Sterling Silver
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time. This is completely normal and is one of the characteristics of genuine 925 sterling silver. Tarnishing does not indicate a fault with the jewellery or the quality of the silver.
Many factors influence how quickly silver tarnishes, including skin chemistry, humidity, air quality, perfumes, lotions, cleaning products and storage conditions. Because of this, two people wearing the same piece may have completely different experiences.
Fortunately, tarnish is only a surface reaction and can easily be removed by polishing.

Not all gold-coated jewelry is created equal. Our custom pieces are crafted using true 18k Gold Vermeil—a luxurious, ultra-durable finish that far outperforms standard gold plating.

WHAT MAKES OUR GOLD VERMEIL DIFFERENT?
• Ultra-Thick Gold Coating (2.5 Microns): Standard gold plating is often a micro-thin flash coating (0.5 microns or less) over cheap base metals like brass. Our pieces feature a heavy 2.5-micron layer of solid 18k gold over 925 Sterling Silver—offering up to 5x to 10x more gold content for superior long-term durability.
• Built-In Palladium Barrier Layer: Silver naturally wants to migrate into gold over time, causing dark tarnish spots from the inside out. We apply an advanced micro-layer of pure Palladium between the 925 Sterling Silver base and the 18k gold outer layer. Palladium acts as an impenetrable shield, blocking silver tarnish and preventing premature discoloration.
• Hypoallergenic & Skin-Safe: Made exclusively with precious metals (18k Gold, Palladium, and 925 Sterling Silver). 100% nickel-free, lead-free, and cadmium-free in compliance with strict EU REACH safety standards. Safe for sensitive skin!

Unlike brass-based gold plating that turns green or flakes away, our pieces are built on 925 sterling silver with a palladium barrier, meaning they can always be cleaned, polished, or re-plated for a lifetime of enjoyment.

CARE TIPS TO MAXIMIZE YOUR JEWELRY'S LIFE:
1. "Last On, First Off": Apply perfume, lotion, and hairspray BEFORE putting on your jewelry.
2. Keep It Dry: Remove before showering, swimming, or working out.
3. Easy Clean: Wipe gently with a soft microfiber cloth after wearing. Never use harsh chemical liquid dips.

Product Safety & Usage Instructions (EU GPSR Compliance):

• Adult Craft Kit (14+): All direct impressions (human fingerprints, pet paw prints, and dog nose prints) using the provided silicone putty or FIMO polymer clay must be strictly conducted or supervised by an adult.

• Direct Pet Impressions: Ensure the pet's nose/paw is clean and dry before applying softened FIMO clay or mixed silicone putty. Gently press to capture the texture and remove immediately. Never block both nostrils or obstruct pet breathing. Wipe pet noses/paws clean with a damp cloth immediately after taking the print.

• Ingestion Warning: Neither the silicone putty nor the FIMO clay provided in the kit is edible. Keep all raw materials away from unsupervised pets and children to avoid swallowing or choking hazards. Wash hands with soap and water after handling raw materials.

• FIMO Clay Baking: If you bake FIMO impressions at home before sending them back, bake strictly at 110°C (230°F) max for up to 30 minutes in a well-ventilated room. Do not exceed recommended temperatures or use a microwave.

• Custom Jewelry Crafting: Once you return your impression mold to us, we professionally handcraft, fire, and finish your custom piece in Solid Prometheus Bronze, 925 Sterling Silver, or 18k Gold Vermeil over Sterling Silver.

• Finished Jewelry Safety & Care: Finished jewelry pieces are adult fashion items (14+). Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts (choking hazard). Do not place metal items in mouth. Clean with a soft polishing cloth.

• Chemical & Heavy Metal Standards: All finished metal jewelry pieces (Prometheus Bronze, Sterling Silver, and Vermeil) are nickel-tested, lead-free, and cadmium-free in full compliance with EU REACH Annex XVII safety standards.
